The Inductrix Switch Air is the second member of the Switch family, the unique switch design features a modular, snap-together design that’s exclusive to the Blade brand. This Switch AIR is literally two models in one, quickly transforming from a micro quadcopter to a flying wing in seconds utilizing simple stick commands. To change between models there are no tools or wiring changes required, just snap and play! Converting models is easy for the beginners and experienced models alike. In both wing and drone modes, the SAFE technology helps stabilize the model, with a self-levelling flight to give all ranges of pilots the confidence to fly and limited bank angles to stop beginners getting into trouble by over controlling the model. Vertical Take-off and Landing In the Micro wing flight mode, the Inductrix Switch Air is perfectly suited for flying indoors in tight spaces and the maneuverability is second to none. Thanks to this aircrafts VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) ability there is no runway required! Simply rise to a hover and push the stick forward to start flying. When you’re ready to land the wing simply slow down and descend like you would when flying a drone. The Inductrix Air Switch can even be flown outdoors, but the wind conditions must be very light. The modular design of the Blade Inductrix Switch Air is also compatible with that switch hovercraft , this means that with a few optional parts the Inductrix Switch Air can also become a Hovercraft for a completely different experience and a whole bunch of fun. For those of you that have purchased an Inductrix switch hovercraft, you are able to update the firmware and convert it into the Switch Air and get flying once you purchase the wing unit.
