Layby Terms


  1. The minimum layby value is $100.00 This is determined by the cost of the goods on the day the layby is started. The total layby cost is not affected by any changes in the cost of the goods that may occur over the term of the layby.

  2. The minimum deposit on your layby is 20% of the total layby value.

  3. No Rainchecks.

  4. No Sale items may be placed on layby.

  5. Payments are to be made at least once in every fortnight, unless otherwise agreed beforehand.

  6. The final payment for this layby must be made within 12 weeks. This means at least six payments will  be required after the initial deposit, to complete your layby.

  7. Laybys may be cancelled before the due date if regular payments are not made. You will be notified in writing at least 7 days prior to cancellation.

  8. If your layby is not finalised by the due date it will be cancelled, the goods will be returned to stock, and any monies paid will be forfeited, unless other arrangements have been made.

  9. Laybys cannot be collected in part, nor modified once opened. They can only be collected in full, after the final payment has been made.

  10. A customer may have a maximum of TWO laybys at any one time.

  11. Layby may be cancelled within 14 days of the start date without penalty. Laybys cancelled after this time, within the term of the layby, will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the total value of the layby sale. Laybys cannot be cancelled after the due date. Some specific items, and any items specially ordered in may incur a larger cancellation fee. This will be discussed at time of purchase and noted overleaf.

  12. Management reserves the right to waive some or all of these conditions on a case by case basis, or to deny laybys to any persons for any reason. None of the terms of service alter or modify your statutory rights in anyway.
