Description

Jelutong is a hardwood timber originatingfrom South East Asia and is well regarded for it's quality.

Jelutong offers a finestraight grainin a light creamy colour, has a medium density, low stifness, low bending and crushing strengths. The wood has a poor steam bending rating.

The timber is very easy to workwith hand & machine tools resulting in a smooth finish.

The timber is highly regarded for carving, pattern making andmodel making.
