A neo-vintage style rear-motor 2WD buggy races through the wilderness!
Off-road buggies can be driven anywhere, and 1/10 scale EP (electric) buggies, which are popular in size, are very popular. A new model with a body based on the real-life dune basher has been added to the Kyosho Ultima SB series of mid-class EP buggies. This model, named "Dune Master", uses the Ultima SB chassis with rear motor RWD (rear wheel drive) that has high rear tire traction and excellent maneuverability, and combines a newly designed basher type body. The body looks like a modified model of the real car, which is different from the open-type buggy, and gives you the original charm of the model, and the tires and wheels are also new types that match the image of the body. In addition to the easy-to-handle maneuverability even for beginners, you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of a real-life buggy race. The chassis is based on the Ultima RB5, which was once active in top-class races, and the price has been reduced by inheriting the basic design and reviewing the specifications of each part. The rear motor layout makes it easier for the rear tires to get grip, allowing for stable driving even on low-grip surfaces such as squares and riverbeds. In addition, you can enjoy high-speed driving that makes the most of the base model's characteristics even on full-scale R/C car circuits. The Ultima SB Dune Master, along with the previously released and highly popular Ultima SB Dirt Master, can be said to be a model that sets the standard for a new era of mid-class buggies. The Ultima SB Dune Master can be enjoyed by all users, whether as a step-up from an entry-level model or as a second car for veteran drivers.
A standard EP buggy that can be assembled and is both high performance and low priced, based on a racing buggy.
Uses a newly designed body of the Basher type. The body is included in the kit unpainted, and decals for decoration are also included.
The main chassis is made of resin, which is easy to assemble and has moderate flexibility, and can be equipped with general-purpose R/C mechanisms.

The front and rear suspensions are double wishbone type, which is well-known for its high road following ability. It is also equipped with high-precision resin oil dampers.
The suspension and steering rods use turnbuckles that allow the length to be changed while still installed, allowing settings to be changed in a short time.
The steering mechanism is equipped with a servo saver function that protects the servo from crashes.
Full bearing specifications include ball bearings as standard equipment, which greatly improves drive system efficiency.
Can also be tuned up using optional parts for the Ultima series.

A newly designed body based on the motif of a real off-road vehicle also known as a Basher or Baja type. It has a high sense of scale and an appealing atmosphere that is different from that of a racing buggy.
The fog lights at the front of the chassis can also be fitted with LED light units (sold separately). Side mirrors are also included, and a driver figure is also included in the cockpit. This allows for even more realistic driving.
A full-sized roll cage is attached to the rear of the chassis. The realistic molding unique to resin molded parts creates a basher mood. This roll cage can also be equipped with a vintage car wing (sold separately), improving driving performance and giving it a wild look.
Another feature is the realistic wheels that tighten up the feet. The rear wheels are the same aero dish type as the Dirt Cross 4WD, while the front wheels are newly made for this Dune Master. They match the image of the body.
Equipped with micro pin spike type tires with high grip on the front and rear. The front tire is wider than the ULTIMA SB DIRT MASTER, realizing the optimal front/rear grip balance while also contributing to improving the overall looks of the machine.
This RWD off-road buggy is based on the Ultima RB5, which has a proven track record in races including the World Championship. It can be fitted with almost all commercially available batteries for 1/10 models, including general-purpose straight packs.
Plastic oil dampers absorb and damp shocks from the road surface to maintain the vehicle's position. The spring tension can be adjusted with a dial, making it easy to change the vehicle height. Springs for race models from the wide range of products in the lineup can also be installed.
The rear differential, which enables smooth cornering, is a gear differential that is easy to assemble and maintain. It can also be converted to an oil-filled type by using oil sold separately. It can also be changed to an Ultima series ball differential that is suitable for circuit driving.
Tapping screws suitable for fixing plastic parts are mainly used. The head of the screw is not a Phillips head, which is common in entry-level models, but a 2mm hex head, which improves ease of assembly and maintenance.
